Bedroom Design Guide

Bedroom Design Tips

  1. 1
Test bed positions against doors and storage
Mark the full bed frame, including projecting parts, in each proposed position. Open the room door and wardrobe, and test getting in and out on every side you need to use.
  2. 2
    Choose textiles around everyday use
Compare bedding and curtain samples with the wall and floor. Check washing instructions, curtain opening space, and where bedding will be stored instead of judging only the styled image.
  3. 3
Compare window coverage in the real room
Observe where light enters when you use the bedroom. Compare how coverings open, stack, and fit around the window, then check the exact product and installation requirements.
  4. 4
Arrange each bedside for its user
Place lamps, charging points, and a surface where each person can reach them. Matching tables are optional; test drawer openings and access before choosing their width.
  5. 5
    Make stored items reachable
Open under-bed drawers, wardrobe doors, and storage lids on your plan. Leave room to use them without moving the bed or blocking the route out of the room.
